S & B | Mount Tamalpais Wedding Portraits

Bay Area Wedding

S & B is of course, a covid bride & groom. They had original plans to go to Hawaii but because of covid, they decided to stay local and do a simple backyard wedding. S actually told me that a backyard wedding was a lot more fitting for her taste. And can I say, it looked like a beautiful time. Just because you have a backyard wedding though, doesn’t mean we can’t adventure around the mountains for some more Wedding portraits! I’m so happy that they found me to take their Wedding Portraits on the mountain tops of Mount Tamalpais. If you’re looking for an adventurous spot that looks like Colorado, well, THIS IS IT! This spot is amazing for elopements, engagements, or even just for a simple hike. It’s one of the best spots in Marin, in my opinion.

I recommend heading up towards Trojan Point (just put this in google maps), and even going even further up to the next parking lot, make a left, and You’re going to find a beautiful mountain top with amazing golden hour, pastel sky views. You will barely have to hike, for such an incredible view.

Those involved in this special day:

MUA: Stefanie Wineapple Makeup

Florist: Patricia Vanessa Flowers

Wedding dress: ASOS

Wedding Ring: Derco Fine Jewelers

I’m just going to share some Wedding Portraits that we did in her backyard first, because WHY NOT! If you have a backyard that looks over the ocean, I’d recommend taking pictures there too 😉

So after taking a few portraits, we drove 1.5 hours up to Mt. Tam. Prepare for this drive.. it’s a bit windy so if you get car sick, go slow or take some medicine beforehand. But the views are stunning!! TOTALLY worth!
