Molly and Ryan’s Moody Romantic Stanford University Wedding was one for the books. From the moment I heard their love story, I knew that their wedding was going to be one of my favorites!

LOVE STORY DETAILS

They met in Las Vegas on St. Partick’s Day weekend. Although Molly and Ryan were living in different cities, they both came for a weekend visit with their individual friend groups.

Molly and her friends passed a relatively empty karaoke bar and decided that they needed to liven up the scene. Before long, the bar began to fill up and everyone started mingling. Someone started limbo, and Molly decided to join in with the other bargoers! One of those just happened to be Ryan 😉

After limboing their hearts out, they proceeded to sit back and chat with each other. This went on for five hours! He walked Molly back to her hotel and ended up moving his flight and booking his hotel for another night. They had a great time together and once they both went back to their own parts of the country, they continued to keep in touch.

Ryan ended up flying out to Denver two months later and the rest is history 🙂

Decor and Vendors

As I mentioned, Molly and Ryan’s moody romantic Stanford University Wedding quickly became one of my favorites. It was held at Stanford Faculty Club and was hosted by Stanford’s student housing. The venue was elegant and was surrounded by beautiful foliage.

The couple was absolute FASHION! Ryan wore a velvet black suit and molly had such an elegant, moody, and romantic dress.

One of my all-time favorite parts was that there was a mixed bridal party, which you do not see very often! I am a little embarrassed to admit that I kept accidentally calling one of the bridesmaids (I’ll call him bridesman) by the wrong name! His name is Nate, and I kept calling him Nick (oopsie :)) By the end of the night, I FINALLY GOT IT RIGHT 🙂

Each of the vendors was phenomenal, but I really would like to highlight Patricia Torres who was the couple’s wedding day coordinator. She was so sweet and on top of everything!

The florals for the day were moody and romantic. The florals complimented the bride’s skin tone so well! They truly made for gorgeous pictures.

Wedding Ceremony and Reception

The ceremony was just as beautiful as the rest of the day. I don’t think I will ever get tired of couples in love enter into holy matrimony.

Both of the bride’s parents have passed.. It made for a bit of a somber mood, but it also made for so many experiences that a lot of couples don’t necessarily get to experience on their special day. An example of this was during the father-daughter dance at the reception. Ryan’s father surprise Molly by asking her to accompany him on the dance floor. There wasn’t a single dry eye in the room AND FOR GOOD REASON!

After Ryan and his groomsmen danced the night away to the Backstreet Boys, Molly and Ryan’s special day came to a close and easily became one of the best days of their lives!
