As a wedding photographer based in California, I have been capturing incredible weddings for a while now. However, I don’t think any come close to Ami and Austin’s Pleasanton Casa Real at Ruby Hill Winery Wedding.

Pleasanton Casa Real at Ruby Hill Winery Wedding Day Details

It is common practice, as a wedding photographer, to check the weather the week leading up to the next wedding you are booked to capture. So, as we neared Ami and Austin’s Pleasanton Casa Real at Ruby Hill Winery Wedding, what did I do?

Of course, I checked the weather! Unfortunately, it said 90% rain. Can you imagine my heart attack?

Luckily Ami was the most prepared bride, because, by the time I reached out to her, she had already instructed the entire bridal party to purchase the bubble umbrellas. Guess what else?! They make for super cute photos!

On the day of, it was actually looking super promising.

In the morning there was a little rain! But, do you know when those clouds suddenly allow the sun to peak through and you get that beautiful shine? Oh yeah! We had that.

The rain did end up coming back later that day, but the entire wedding was troopers for photographing in the drizzle.
