C + S’s Filoli Historic House and Garden Micro Wedding seemed to be taken straight out of a fairytale book.
After getting engaged, the couple decided to get married at SF City Hall and then have this particular wedding later on. Because their family, who are in Asia, weren’t able to be at either one of these marriages, they will have a bigger ceremony once COVID – 19 is a bit more tamed.
I mean, why have one wedding celebration when you can have three – amirite?!
This was on a Sunday which actually turned out to be super busy. The couple had a coordinator who was able to help block out some areas of the venue. We were able to get photos without any interruptions from the public visitors. Because this Filoli Historic House and Garden Micro Wedding took place in the winter, the florals weren’t quite in bloom yet. If you are contemplating having your wedding here, I would highly recommend one in the springtime for the variety of floral blooms.
We actually were extremely lucky that it was partially cloudy because it helped diffused the harsh lighting in this location. The best time to come would be around 3 PM for softer light.
The decorations for this micro wedding were kept minimal due to Filoli Historic House and Garden’s restrictions.
